Agent Engagement Features Overview

We have a personalized landing page for real estate agents to educate their clients about Buy Before You Sell. Buy Before You Sell is a program designed to unlock a person’s equity in their old home to give them cash to buy their new home.

Agents want to know how many weekly views they have and who started the application on their website.

Our team built “insights” and “activity” features to encourage agents to engage with their landing page so the business can drive more leads. Moreover, we have a marketing resource hub to help agent pitch their buyers/sellers.

 

I was the lead designer on this project in Q3 2023 - Q4 2023. I ideated early concepts, presented regularly to leadership, and delivered final assets for production. I worked with multiple cross-functional teams that included 1 product manager, 1 product marketing manager and 2 engineers.

 

Problem

Agents have no idea how many weekly views they have and who started the application on their website.

 

Goals

User: Make it incredibly simple for agents to check their website pageview, application completions, and download activity log

Business: Encourage agents to engage with their landing page so the business can drive more leads

Product: Create features that are helpful for agents and drive engagement

 
 

Components

I componentized the design to improve consistency.

 

Brainstorming

I worked with 1 product manager and 2 product marketing managers to come up with the go-to-market plan for launching these features.

 

Research

After the engagement features were launched, I was asked to come up with new strategies to improve the UX on the landing page to drive growth. I used Hotjar to track down how users interact on the site and come up with a batch of small iterations to drive growth.

 
 

Other features - Marketing resource hub

Besides the engagement features, the team built a resource center on HubSpot to help agents promote Buy Before You Sell. I was the designer for all the marketing collaterals.

 

Results

With the new engagement features, agents found it helpful to know that if their campaign is working or not. Moreover, agents are confident to pitch clients about Buy Before You Sell with the customizable marketing materials.
